This Great Truck

This truck was and is still great. The vehicle is exceptionally reliable.

The engine is solid. Mileage with the 2.5 L4 exceeds 35mpg for flat elevation highway travel because of a stellar overdrive automatic transmission. The truck accelerates slowly, but never fails to gain speed and never knocks under stress in hilly terrain.

Handling is very predictable. Stopping distances with tires one width size broader than manufacturer specifications compare favorably to a older model Ford Escort I also own.

The Transwheel factory original wheel have not rusted. The cheap hubcaps disappeared many years ago. But, that I can remember this as being one of the problems speaks volumes about the small number of problems this vehicle has given me.

Fun Truck

This dodge ram truck is real fun to drive and gets many rubber neckers. Mine is a 1998 that's in really good condition, I was looking for a truck that no one had and I did research on the SS/T and found out that there really rare. I had to have one.

Good But Not Perfect

The Dodge Charger was a great concept ineptly executed. The problem was simple, it was built like a box. Plain in simple.

It was an amazingly fast car, rode smoothly, when it indeed was running. It got a lot of attention, since it was good looking. The interior was pretty nice too. The fake chrome on the turn signal began to lift, giving me a 'paper' cut, once I ripped that off, all was fine.

On the plus side, never had a problem with the clutch, brakes or transmission. So, to sum it, was it a lemon. Not really. Just a crappy dealer who couldn't or wouldn't fix it correctly.

Loving My Sports Car

I have the Dodge Avenger ES model which has Leather seats which are AWESOME! Also the 4 wheel disk breaks that have ultimate stopping distance. I just put 4 brand new slotted and drilled rotors. It has very good handling. I just don't like to drive it in the Wisconsin winters. It does have remote start on it though so I don't drive it cold. I love the automatic sun roof and the sleek look the Dodge car has.

Weekend Adventure Car

I purchased this Toyota 4runner vehicle for my weekend adventure trips, which means driving on bad roads and highways. It has surpassed my expectations, and is really fun to drive in poor conditions.

I chose the V8 option, for the full-time 4WD. It easily handled a foot of fresh snow on top of ice over a 40 mile stretch without any problems.

The electronic stability assistance does an excellent job of helping to keep the vehicle pointed straight while on icy roads.

The Toyota Pickup

My Toyota Pick Up is very reliable. I beat the woods during hunting season and tow my 14x7x7 trailer full of furniture and it still keeps going. I also tow my boat often throughout the year two hours one way to go fishing at the coast. I recommend this toyota pickup to anyone. Keep the oil changed every 3K and tuned-up and the vast majority will be good to go. This truck gets the true Toyota truck test.

Nice Ride

Nice ride, very comfortable, but with average accelerations. Very roomy cabin for driver and co-driver. Not too spacious in the back seat. Fuel economy is good. The dashboard is well designed and made from good quality Peugeot parts. Very good equipment as well even from the basic model which I own, with 6 airbags, ABS, electric front windows, electric adjustable door mirrors and radio-cd with steering wheel operational buttons. Maybe is not the best super mini, but a very decent choice.

Good Old Car

carfanatic 05/04/2008 @ 10:02

This '96 Oldsmobile SL sedan was purchased at the same time I bought a '96 SL wagon. I have driven both cars a total of well over 150,000 miles the past 5 years, and the alternator is the only Oldsmobile part I have had to replace other than tires, brakes and a battery- and that's both cars!

The SL's have split bench power front seats, remote power windows, pop out cup holders from the center arm rest, and many other options found in much more expensive cars, making them very comfortable.

The 3.1 has adequate power and delivers about 30 mpg on the hi way and 25 to 27 mpg during in town driving.

Welcome
